If you were wondering what happened last night, no, The Nation weren't doing a parody of Muriel's Wedding, that really was Muriel's Wedding.
The Nation has moved to Wednesday nights at 10:30pm.
Also appearing last night were Andrew Denton and Crowded House. Not too shabby! Lucky buggers probably even got to meet Nikki as well.

Last nights ratings -
The Nation at 10.30 pm for Nine averaged 418,000, which was second best in the slot for most of the hour. Proportionately it was better than Tuesday night at 9.30 pm, but Without A Trace averaged over a million and CSI New York just over 800,000, so the more popular lead-in helped. It was interesting to see Andrew Denton on The Nation last night. A bit of support from one talk show host to another, across the networks? I hope so!

Evil Labrador? Someone's been watching Late Night with Conan Obrien, that was just like the Evil Puppy, even the same sinister red lighting, blaah.
I still like The Nation, its funny and everything but it is seriously Nikki-deprived, she was barely even in tonight's show! Come on 9, its not rocket surgery!

The Losers: The Nation on Nine at 10.30pm: 363,000 and sliding, which is a pity. Nothing else really could be termed a loser. it was a strong night of viewing.

People tune in to see her & her antics & her pretty face a starlet who stole the hearts of men..
QM was bad enough having to sit thru an hour or 2 sometimes on saturday
